STEMS-READY

TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 is purpose-built for mixing with Stems – the open, multi-channel audio format for creative DJing. A Stem file contains a track split into four musical elements – bass, drums, vocals, and melody, for example. With each element available independently, you can mix in ways that just weren’t possible until now.

Mix with track elements using the D2’s four performance faders to create spontaneous, edits, mash-ups, a cappellas, and more. And, get detailed with effects – add reverb to the vocals, and leave the rest of the track dry, for example.

FULL-COLOR DISPLAY

The high-res display on the D2 brings your music to life in living color. Browse tracks, effects, and adjust filter values directly on the hardware using the pop-up panels and views. The Stem View, for example, provides a color-coded overview of a track’s four stems as stacked waveforms. And your workflow is never interrupted – visually fine-tune a playing track’s beatgrid in real-time on the display.

TOUCH-AND-SEE WORKFLOW

Imagine workflow as effortless as instinct. Touch-sensitive knobs and faders activate TRAKTOR views and functions on an ultra-crisp full-color display, keeping you in the moment – and connected with your crowd.

Using Stems, you can intuitively layer track parts to play unique mixes, then add new details with filter and FX. And with the D2’s LED-guided touch strip, just swipe your finger to cue or nudge tracks back in sync.

TRAKTOR KONTROL D2’s touch-responsive Remix Deck controls unlock the door to creativity – and your signature sound. Intuitively mix sounds from TRAKTOR Remix Sets with the touch-sensitive performance faders. Plus, capture and trigger your own samples and loops live using the eight color-coded performance pads.
